What is Fine Art School Portraits?

Gone are the days of boring school photos that parents feel obligated to purchase. Fine Art School Portraits are beautiful, classic images of kids at this magical stage of their lives. This is a custom, boutique experience for families who attend schools that have chosen to partner with me. My sessions are professional, unique and personal.

My goal is to capture the true nature of each child in front of my lens. No cheesy smiles, no awkwardness allowed! This is them, just as they are. My sessions are light, fun, and easy. I pride myself on creating sessions where the kids can relax and be themselves.

What are your services?

I operate completely online for convenience to the school and the parents and families.

The first order of business is the PDF that is sent to each family detailing the entire portrait experience. I will send tips for picking outfits, explain the process from shoot to ordering, and answer any questions along the way.

I work closely with the school contact to set up a shoot day that does not take away from instructional time and works for students and staff. The session will be organized and efficient while still providing a personal service.

Families are linked to password-protected galleries that are organized in a way that benefits the school. Students will have 2-3 images in both color and black and white that parents can choose from. I offer boutique print products such as gallery wraps and fine art prints as well as digital images. Prints are ordered online and delivered directly to the school.

I provide all equipment needed and will give clear instructions for what I need from the school for maximum organization.

I provide the school with hi-res images for yearbooks, websites, school IDs, etc.

I handle any and all questions from parents regarding prints and procedures.

I offer sessions for staff members and provide a complimentary package for them.

I stand ready to offer support to schools for any unique requests or needs.

Are these images expensive?

No sitting fee is due up front. My print and digital products are priced competitively. All profits are made through sales. I provide packages and a la carte products that fit any budget. Also, 10% of gross sales are donated back to the school.

What time of year do you offer these Fine Art School sessions?

I work with schools to schedule shoots during the academic year.
